妥善安置，放归资质待科学评估

2月24日，在确认其身体状况稳定的前提下，青海省野生动物救护繁育中心为“黄安安”注射了第一针疫苗。接种完成后，“黄安安”被顺利转移至设施更为完善的小型猫科动物馆进行饲养观察。

考虑到“黄安安”异常亲人，对人无应激反应，疑似存在家猫基因。青海省野生动物救护繁育中心后续将对其基因进行检测分析，经综合评估后再判断其是否具备放归条件。

A Chinese mountain cat is successfully rescued by the Qinghai Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Center 

On April 2, the Qinghai Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Center announced that a Chinese mountain cat, national first-class key protected wild animal, was rescued early month this year. At present, the cat is under observation at the Small Cat House in the center.

On January 22, 2026, the Qinghai Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Center received a rescued male Chinese mountain cat. The cat showed no obvious external injuries, but had yellow purulent discharge from both nostrils. It was weak , underweight, and moderately dehydrated.Test results for common infectious diseases were all negative.

After more than a month of treatment and careful nursing, the cat's physical condition has improved significantly. The rescuers named it Huang An'an with the nickname Xiao Huang. The name not only references its discovery site, Huangzhong District, where it was found, but also carries the rescuers’ best wishes for its future safety and well-being.

On February 24, after confirming its physical condition, the Qinghai Wildlife Rescue and Breeding Center injected the first vaccine to Huang An’an. Considering that Huang An’an is unusually friendly to humans and shows no stress response to people, it is suspected to carry domestic cat genes. Subsequently, gene testing and analysis will be conducted on this Chinese mountain cat. A comprehensive assessment will then be carried out to determine whether it meets the conditions for release.
